20% project selling

This week I have achieved a lot of progress toward my project.  I have listed all my items on ebay and have already sold a few.  I have sold a processor and a controller.  I also have a pending offer on a video card.  In total I have earned $220, if the transaction with the video card gets finalized I will have made $260.  Not to mention the $80 I have already set aside for the project.  I currently have earned enough for the project,   but I am not even done selling yet, I still need to sell some ram and a motherboard. I am very excited and have no fears that the project will not be funded.  I have completed everything for my November 1st check in, and I have begun picking all the parts for my next check in.  I am also confident that the project will finish on time.

liquid cooled pc part 4

This week I have prepared all the parts I will be selling.  I plan to start selling them this weekend.  I have also begun selecting parts for the project. above is a picture of the cooler master esiburg.  I chose it as the CPU water block because it has an integrated pump at a reasonable price.  It is important for the block to have an integrated pump because I want to make the product easy to install.  The cooler master esiburg also has an integrated reservoir, while it is helpful I will not be needing the integrated reservoir because the radiator will have an integrated reservoir.  Normally the reservoir and pump would both be dedicated but I have chose to eliminate as many parts as possible to increase compatibility.  If all the parts were dedicated it would be impossible to plan the length of tubing for every computer.

20% blog part 3

This past week I have designed a new model of how I want it to work.  This new model will work with almost every modern desktop that has a reasonably sized case.  In my last blog I said that be to innovative i would allow people to customize tubing color and coolant.  I have now added more options. I have added choices for the CPU block, radiator, and fittings.  this new design will now perform as well as the previous one.  the main advantage to this design is that it will work with almost any computer and is a marketable product. another advantage to this new design is that it will cost less.  I am also hoping to be able to make more money than previously expected.  this is because of a fire in the Hynix manufacturing plant.  Hynix manufactures most of chips  ram for most of the worlds ram.  The fire as caused an increase in ram prices.  I am hoping to take advantage of this by selling some ram that I am not using.
